Back Country Horseman of Central Michigan
 
Organizational Reasons:  The sole purpose of this meeting is to organize a chapter of Back Country Horseman to be located in Central Michigan with a mission to educate, collaborate, and partnership with trail riders through out the State of Michigan.
 
Mission Statement:  We are a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and the promotion of horseback riding in the State of Michigan's public lands.  We support and promote the use of multi-user trails and wilderness lands throughout the State of Michigan.
 
Philosophy:  To begin a movement to protect, preserve and retain access to all public lands within the State of Michigan.  Protection of our State's natural resources through "Leave no Trace" is an important part of our mission.  A commitment of leadership to empowerment, accountability and building partnerships to ensure our "Right to Ride" legislation here in Michigan.  Responding to the needs of information, assessments, innovations and communications of equine enthusiasts.

Open to any and all interested individuals, family's or group's who aren't afraid to step up to the commitment and mission to fight for our "Right to Ride" in Michigan.  The goal is to unite diverse individuals, family's and group's to protect and preserve our right to ride upon our public lands and wilderness, to help promote the importance of the Equine industry within the state of Michigan.
