It was a sad day here at the farm.

I had to put down my 26 year old Arabian stallion ,Percission ,

He was slightly  off his feed when we returned home from the Cowboy Picnic and continued to go down

hill.

His wonderfull temperment  , superior action and flash  as he ran around his pen is greatly missed.

Rest in peace old Friend...

So sorry Mike. I had the distinct pleasure of having taken one of our dogs to the vet yesterday to be put to sleep. No fun at all. My sympathies to you.

Oh Mike, I am so sorry for your loss.  26 years is a long time to own a horse.

And sympathy to you too Kevin about your dog.

I had to put a pet goat to sleep a few days after I returned.

It seems it doesn't really hit home right away, but later when you expect to see or hear them, that it's so painful.
