A big thank you to all those who helped out at the booth this past weekend at Stallion Expo!  Once again we were very encouraged with the support for our legislation and how it is moving.  We just spoke with Kevin and Melanie and they are thinking that the vote "might" come on Thursday but, need to wait at least 24 hours to really make that call-so hang on! There are a few things that need to be done today and tomorrow and after that we will get the specifics.  Please check back here-we will also send out an email blast to all when we hear!  If we can't get it done this week-hopefully it will be the following week....stay tuned!

Thanks to those who worked SO HARD on Friday and Saturday and Sunday at MHC Horse Expo.

I hope all of you had a chance to put your 5 stickers on the DNR map to show your favorite place to ride. 

We have many letters (another 25 or so) going to the governor this week, signed by those who want her to know how we feel. : )   and we have strong support by many others who signed our petition.

Kathy Lawless, our lead on this event; Mike Stinson, Virginia Franklin, Dianne Barmes, Gordon & Marieta Davis, Ellen VanSlyke, Anita West, Cheryl Ray, Melva Parker, Nancy Simmonds, Pat Galloup, Kate Malson, Tim & Dawn Gossett, Lyle & Connie Wyatt, Harriet Pinger (our insurance lady!), Ron & Amelia Beyer, Bill & Barb Weeks, and your's truly, ME.

Many members popped in to visit - thanks for the additional help answering questions.

Let's keep positive that this week will get these bills approved.

Next stop are our team of Equine Trail Advisors!!  We need a few great folks to speak for the majority.

A Big THANKS to all who stepped up to help out at the MHC Stallion Expo.  It was great to see some new faces taking ownership of our efforts.  Everyone who committed to work showed up and did a GREAT JOB.
