Only two more days left till Lansing will be in recess for Easter break with lots on their agenda to finish up on. We are hoping with the vote yesterday and passage in the Senate of HB 4610 that this is a great sign. The vote was 37-0 with immediate effect 27-1!

SB 578 will to be taken up in the House tomorrow in order to be able to move both bills to the Governor for her consideration. After the vote is taken in the House-time permitting and passed, it will then be moved back to the Senate for a concurrence vote. We want to be there when that happens. Also remember that these bills are tie-barred together and both must pass to become law.

So, if you can join us in Lansing tomorrow-please do. Also be prepared for a long day!

Senate session begins around 10:30-till?/House 12:00-till?. We will plan to meet as always in the Anderson House Building cafeteria area around 11:00, which is just across the street from the Capital and go as a group.

Please remember to wear your cowboy hat and also remember when in the Gallery-NO CAMERAS AND NO CLAPPING! :)Last time we forgot to remind the new ones that joined us...If everything goes according to plan...this could be the final trip...but, then again nothing is certain.

One more thing I would like to mention. I know this is short notice but, as many of you know, Kendra Everett, Senator Brown's legislative assistant who we have been working so closely with this past year, is due to have a little baby girl the second week of April. If you would like to bring along a little baby gift we would love to surprise her! She has worked so hard for us and it would be a wonderful gesture on our part to show her how much we appreciate all she has done! Her favorite colors are yellow and blue.......(This is a surprise-hope she doesn't visit our site before tomorrow!)

Thanks again for all the faithful show of support that has been given in the past!

Will look forward to seeing those that can make it tomorrow.

Dick and Connie, Thank you so much (and all those who have been able to get to Lansing for these sessions) for your dedication and hard work.  I will be watching from the sidelines and praying that all goes smoothly in these last hours!  Thanks again, we owe you so much!:)

Thanks Deanna and Tom,

We have not been alone through this undertaking.  Have had a great team and have made many lasting friends along way!  We need you to take it easy, got a date to go riding in the near future!  Joel would like to ride his horse once again up at the Pigeon. :D Don't want to disappoint him now! Don't forget to tune into House TV www.mi.gov and watch.

Will wave to you from the Gallery! Take care....
