Pigeon River & Beyond - Back Country Horsemen, Michigan

Friends of the Fred Meijer Clinton _Ionia-Shiawassee  (CIS) rail trail will be holding its annual Membership Meeting.  This years meeting is being  held in Owosso on Wednesday evening, March 31, 2010 at 7 PM at Baker College Welcome Center , at 1309 S. M- 52 , Owosso Mi.

This meeting is open to anyone interested in the promotion and maintenance of this trail.  Featured speakers , Annamarie Bauer, Trail Planning Specialist, and Mark Mandenberg, Non Motorized Trail Specialist, from the MDNR.  They will be presenting visual displays and power point slides of the draft trailway design and developement concepts.

Last spring the developement meetings that  were held  In Corunna, St John, and Ionia and were well attended by horsemen and horsewomen.

This is a chance to see if the MDNR actually listened to those who attended and if there will be horse on this trail.
