Just got word this afternoon that the Governor has signed into law the Recreation Passport Bills.

Senate Bill 389 is now Public Act 35

Senate Bill 1057 is now Public Act 33

Senate Bill 4677 is now Public Act 34

Senate Bill 5752 is now Public Act 32

It will be a few days before they  will all be posted on line to read so please be patient.  Hopefully this will work nicely to save us all some money for all those who use the state parks system.  It will also encourage them to be used more.  This method has worked in other states-let's hope it will work in Michigan!  Looking forward to a portion of this revenue to help improve state forest campgrounds and trails......stay tuned.......
