It's been a couple days and I haven't heard any information from this last weekend's meeting.  Are there minutes posted somewhere that I can't seem to find.  What's new, where are things headed, what's coming up?  Thanks.

Minutes are being written and will be available soon.  The last meeting was a productive one.  please remember, that meeting minutes are only DRAFTS until approved by the membership in following meetings.

Next meeting will be April 4th, at 1 pm, at Jay's sporting goods store in Clare. See "Meetings" tab for info about the Central group!

Meeting Minutes are posted. Look for the "tab" Minutes at the top.

I'm so frustrated!  I'd like to attend the meeting in Clare April 4, but unfortunately, our club's spring meeting is the same day in Kalkaska! Letters were mailed and there is no changing that.:/  Do you believe there will be a meeting every month?  Is it possible to know already when future meetings will be?

I couldn't actually find the "minutes" tab up there, but if you look under the "meetings" tab you can find info about the last meeting 02/28/09 and there is also a link to the minutes...

Or try this http://www.bchmi.org/minutes.htm

Thanks Sue for finding that.  I guess the minutes tab was removed.

The minutes that are posted on the above link are unapproved minutes.  I see in reviewing them that I mistakenly stated that Allegan State Game Area is run by the city . Actually it is being proposed by the Board of Commissioners to discuss taking over the lease of this area from the State to possibly manage  this. Allegan County would be a logical choice since it operates the Silver Creek County Park near Hamilton.  This was tabled for more research on cost and revenues by the commissioners.

So sorry about the conflict of dates Elaine. Saturday seems to work best for those who work Monday-Friday.  No, we will not be meeting every month.  We will be meeting quarterly.  April 4th in the next scheduled meeting-will be at Jay's in Clare at 1:00.  The next will be July 11th.  Hopefully, this one will be able to be held at Goose Creek.  We are in the process of making arrangements for this.  As soon as we have this finalized we will post it for you.

Thanks,

Connie

Thank you Connie.  I will put July 11 on my schedule.  I don't mind meeting on Saturday - its just that Feb 28 and Apr 4 were (are) impossible for me because of conflicts and I was groaning.

I just read through the minutes of the most recent meeting.  It seems much was accomplished.  Thank you, Sue, for posting the 'address' for the minutes.
