I recently attended the Leave No Trace (LNT) (stock) Master Educator Training Pilot course for "Front Country Situations Shawnee National Forest Murphysboro Ill, April 11-15 2011. This was a weeks course based on 7 common sense principles of " LNT" to minimize the impacts that we make , conserving our natural resourses and respecting other users. This awareness course is about Outdoor ethics-a set of behaviors that come from within, Unlike a rule that is imposed on you by and outside source.  Representative came from Georgia-BCH, Illinois-BCH, Michigan -BCH , West Virginia-BCH and  National Parks Service

To learn more about Leave No Trace and Minimizing our impact on our Natural Resources , be sure to come to the Summer campout June 17,18 19 , see our website calendar of events for more details.
