Wow great job everyone!!

We absolutely wowed them with our numbers!

The testimony given was pretty much a slam dunk, but that's my opinion!

We filled 2 rooms...Standing room only to boot!  My guess is 150 pushing 200.

WAY TO GO!

OH... I forgot to mention one of the highlights was that the DNR rep. didn't even have a seat!  He stood until it was his turn then didn't stick around for our testimony.  Hmmm!  wonder why?

After lunch, and before we returned to the hearing at 3:30 pm,  many of us walked across to the Capital,  to the gallery above the House of Representatives while they were in session.  Representative Sheltrown announced our presence!!  And everyone looked up to see dozens of Cowboy hats!!

During our walk, we chatted with some other visitors who are horse enthusiasts and gave them some literature.

Then, back to the hearing when it re-convened at 3:30.  Phew! what a day.

To Dick, Tom Casperson, and everyone from our group who gave testimony;

You guys did a GREAT job presenting with facts and compassion for our cause.  THANK YOU all for standing up for each of us and for all the hard work and countless hours spent on our behalf.  We appreciate, more than you'll ever know, all the background work , all the telephone calls and contacts, and all the legwork that it has taken to accomplish this much.  We know there is still more to do, so keep urging us forward with your enthusiasm!

Thanks to all the people for the time and effort and self  sacrifice  by taking time off from work and what elese you were to do on this day to help support our cause, There were many other user groups represented there to show solidarity, this shows we are comming to gather, and willing to help one another over come the things we believe in.  This is a great thing for the resource users of this state!!!!

BUREAUCRATS BEWARE, the train has left the station and starting to gain speed.  There we people from all over the state including the far reaches of the U.P.  Job well done, this is just the start!!!!!!!!!
