Leave No Trace
A program based on science and ethics
utilizing 7 common sense principles to
educate all recreational users in minimizing impact
to the land and wildlife while respecting all
visitors to the outdoors.
refers to the changes all
recreationist make to nature such as litter, the
trampling of vegetation and pollution of water.
A guiding philosophy or principles of conduct governing an individual.
Doing what is right when no one is watching.
The ethical part of Leave No Trace is all about making a personal decision to leave your campsite, and the trails you travel upon,
better than you found it, without a trace that you have been there.
Start something new for yourself and everyone who comes after you,
by packing out what you brought in with you, so that those who follow in your footsteps can enjoy and experience the wonder of the outdoors as much as you did with out it being strewn with the trash that our society so freely throws down.
